Charterhouse raise £900 for a Mighty Good Cause
Staff at Ramsey based Charterhouse Group International have raised £900 for The Mighty Oak Appeal 2 following a charity raffle at their annual Christmas party. The celebrations saw Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club transformed into a Medieval Banqueting Hall where guests, dressed in full traditional costume, dined on a traditional banquet and enjoyed live entertainment from Manx Ceilidh band, the Manx Calor Gas.
The highly anticipated prize draw culminated the evening’s festivities and raised funds for the appeal, which aims to raise £2.5 million to reduce the shortfall in additional construction costs to build the new hospice in Douglas.
Eugene Lantry, CEO of Charthouse Group International drew the winning tickets and commented: ‘The Hospice is an invaluable part of our community and we are delighted to offer our support. I would also like to thank our suppliers for generously donating a number of fantastic prizes.’
