Charterhouse help build foundations of the future
During the festive season, instead of writing Christmas cards, staff at Charterhouse Group International were busy writing a cheque for over £400 towards the IOM Children’s Centre’s Building Blocks Appeal.
It was the third year that employees had opted to donate money towards a nominated charity as an alternative to sending Christmas cards to colleagues, and for each donation received, a bauble was added to the Christmas tree.
The IOM Children’s Centre provides a safe environment for children and young people to develop their future potential and the Building Blocks Appeal aims to raise £500,000 to improve much needed facilities and services.
Julie Hignett of Charterhouse, who coordinated the campaign, commented:
‘We are delighted to support Manx charities and wish them every success with their appeal’
